Hi, my name is Lim Rui Ying and I am 20 years old. When it comes to my personality, I consider myself to be awkwardly sociable, compassionate and diligent. Among my various interests, I like doing artistic things such as crocheting, watercolour painting, and taking photography.
Although I did not have a strong foundation in arts, I made the decision to study design when choosing my academic path because of my interest. Currently, I am a design student based in Selangor, pursuing a degree of Bachelor of Design (Hons) in Creative Media at Taylor's University and specialising in UI/UX. While lacking a strong artistic background has presented challenges, I view these difficulties as opportunities for growth. Being a perfectionist, I consistently set high standards for myself, which can sometimes be overwhelming. However, I am determined to overcome these obstacles and continuously strive to improve.
I understand that it will take effort and perseverance to achieve my dreams, but I am willing to put in the hard work to become a thoughtful, imaginative, and passionate designer in the future.
